About Us

Bob and Bronwyn Rhoades have been guiding art and culture trips since 1998. Trips are designed for groups of artists, art and culture adventures, and people who want a unique and small group (8 people) experience rather than a group of 20 or more. From cooking lessons and shared meals, to local restaurant experiences, painting plein air, or upscale hotels with elegant furnishings, trips are designed to meet the needs and interests of the travelers.

Bob just retired from teaching art for more than 35 years. As Professor Emeritus for College of the Redwoods, he is free to do more travel.  Bob has vast experience in teaching all levels of art and has extensive art history as well as studio art techniques. His sense of humor, flexibility, and creativity keep his students and travelers returning.

Bronwyn also retired in June 2011, from school administration and 35 years of teaching. She has coordinated numerous travel and study experiences both in the United States and abroad.

Together we attend to the trip details and your personal comforts so you can simply relax and enjoy.  You can ask us to plan a trip for your family, your girlfriends, book group,  bridge club or the like.  Or, you can select from our planned excursions and make new friends.
